US-ASEAN Business Council President and CEO to Join Upcoming Presidential Trade and Investment Mission to the Philippines

The United States Government today announced the official list of the participants to the Presidential Trade and Investment Mission (PTIM) to Manila, Philippines. Ambassador Ted Osius, President and CEO of the US-ASEAN Business Council, is set to join a carefully selected delegation comprised of 22 senior executives representing leading American corporations.
Ambassador Osius expressed his enthusiasm about the mission, stating, “this trade and investment mission underscores the commitment of the United States to building strong partnerships with one of its key allies, the Philippines. I am confident that this mission will create new partnership possibilities for the U.S. private sector.”
Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo will lead the March 11-12 mission. This first of a kind trade and investment mission aims to enhance U.S. companies’ contributions to the Philippines’ digital transformation and clean energy transitions as well as highlight the Philippines as a key hub for regional supply chains and high-quality investment.
During the mission, the delegates will meet with officials from the Philippine Government to learn more about business development incentives and to discuss regulatory reforms. They will also meet with local firms and business organizations to foster business-to-business trade and investment opportunities.
