Art Brussels 2024 Marks Milestone 40th Edition with an international spectrum and exciting new key players

Art Brussels, one of Europe's leading contemporary art fairs, is delighted to announce its 40th edition, which will take place from Thursday 25 April to Sunday 28 April 2024. Recognised as a premier platform for contemporary art, Art Brussels continues to evolve, innovate and inspire, celebrating four decades of artistic excellence, creativity and cultural dialogue.  

Since its inception in 1968, Art Brussels has remained at the forefront of the contemporary art scene, showcasing established artists, fostering emerging talents, and facilitating dynamic exchanges between artists, collectors, gallerists, and art enthusiasts. Over the years, the fair has earned a global reputation for its commitment to presenting cutting-edge contemporary art in diverse forms, from painting and sculpture to photography, installation, and new media.

The 40th edition of Art Brussels promises to be a landmark event with a selection of 177 galleries from 30 countries, each bringing their unique artistic perspectives and contributions to the fore. With a focus on innovation, diversity and inclusivity, the fair will present a curated programme of galleries divided into 5 sections, special artistic projects, and an outdoor sculpture exhibition, offering visitors an immersive experience of today's art scene.

Art Brussels is delighted to announce the continued support of the two main partners, Delen Private Bank and Bank Van Breda.

The fair is also pleased to announce the support expressed by Philippe Close, the city’s mayor, on behalf of the City of Brussels, which is committed to acquiring an outdoor sculpture for a public space. A jury will decide which artist will be chosen from the new outdoor sculpture project, which is being organised by Art Brussels for the first time at the Brussels Expo.

Art Brussels: Contemporary since 1968

Preserving its youthful profile as a discovery fair, Art Brussels is one of Europe's most distinctive and established fairs, which will hold its 40th edition in 2024. From 25 to 28 April 2024, the European capital becomes once again a focal point for collectors, gallerists and art lovers from around the world, offering them a unique opportunity to explore the artistic treasures and diversity of the city, which is now home to a growing number of emerging and established artists, galleries and curators.

Main Partners

Art Brussels is proud of its collaboration with two new main partners, Delen Private Bank and Bank Van Breda.

The activities of sister companies Delen Private Bank and Bank Van Breda complement each other perfectly. Delen Private Bank focuses on wealth management and wealth planning, while Bank Van Breda is a bank of choice for entrepreneurs and professionals, both privately and professionally.
